High Chrome Iron Casting in Pakistan
Lahore Casting pours High Chrome Iron (15% Cr, 25% Cr) to order at Mominpura Road, Lahore, Pakistan, by sand casting from 1 kg to 500 kg. Iron carrying enough chromium to form hard chromium carbides right through the section. It is the most abrasion-resistant alloy on this list, and the most brittle - the two go together. Every heat is checked on an OES spectrometer before pouring and a material test certificate is issued on request.

When to choose it
Use High Chrome Iron when: Sliding abrasion without heavy impact: slurry pump parts, mill liners, wear plates, chute liners, grinding media.
Choose something else when: The part is hammered. Manganese steel survives impact; this cracks.
