Mild Steel Casting in Pakistan
Lahore Casting pours Mild Steel (AISI 1020, 1025) to order at Mominpura Road, Lahore, Pakistan, by sand casting from 1 kg to 500 kg. Low carbon steel, around 0.20% carbon. It welds without preheat and machines cleanly, which matters more than strength on parts that are fabricated into an assembly. Every heat is checked on an OES spectrometer before pouring and a material test certificate is issued on request.

When to choose it
Use Mild Steel when: The casting is welded into a fabrication, or a tough part is wanted cheaply: brackets, base plates, general structural castings.
Choose something else when: The part is loaded hard or must hold a hardness - move up to carbon or alloy steel.
